I'M ZAI
I’ve spent the last decade capturing love stories across the world in an intentional and honest way, and that sentence alone makes me smile so big. As the daughter of immigrants, being able to follow my calling is something I never take for granted. I put my entire heart into this.
The things that make me feel most alive include exploring the outdoors, the kinda laughter that makes me snort, gathering with the humans I love, experiencing sunsets and moonrises, and sharing travel with couples who start as clients and become friends.

Zai was an incredible photographer, but also a great human being.
She has a way of giving direction that makes you feel at ease, but she also knows how to disappear into the background, which allows you to be your true selves around each other. he captured all the in-between moments and allowed my husband and I to see our love for each other in a way we'd never seen before. It rained on our wedding day and our DJ got in a car accident on his way to the venue. I can't tell you how much Zai's presence made me feel more at ease. I didn't know for sure that things would work out, but I was reassured that no matter what happened our photos would look amazing.
Zai was so confident and chill through it all, asked me if I needed a drink more than my catering crew and fought off my day-of planner's bad ideas so I didn't have to. She was my vendor maid of honor! Short story long, if you hire her you will have a beautiful gallery of photos and an honest, hard-working and thoughtful person to work with through it all. As memories fade with time, her photos will be the way we remember our special day and I'm so thankful for that.
