travel is one of my biggest sources of joy
I love to simply exist somewhere I've never been. Something about not speaking the language, trying new foods, and watching the way people live - these experiences make me feel so alive, and also so tiny in this world. My work is deeply shaped by this worldly perspective.
I once was a newspaper journalist
I spent 5 years covering a range of topics that included religion, politics and community. I learned that in order to tell stories honestly, with trust, the most important thing is making people feel comfortable to be themselves in your presence. I also know that the most meaning is in the details.
I'm a taurus, through & through
Not to get all woo woo, but I do defnitiely fit every description you've ever read about Tauruses. I live through my senses, which means my love language is good food, beautiful spaces, a well-put-together outfit, and an excellent music station. I have a calming presence and grounding mindfulness on wedding days. As for the stubborn Taurus trait - I'm working on it, hehe.
